Barnes and Noble booksellers are working on forming a union as well!

Their flagship store and New York has unionized along with 3-4 other stores! This is happening! People are tired of being seen as dollar signs and being made to work just to get to work more, to survive instead of thrive. Keep it UP.
"Rail only works over short distances" one of the most detached from reality carbrain statements I've ever read. Rail is objectively, demonstrably better to cover long distances than it is to cover short distances. Car culture legitimately gives you some kind of brain fungus.
I can’t figure out what’s “wrong” or “horrifying” about this menu.
There are exactly 2 things which are specifically Southern (as in the southeast region of the contiguous 48 states of the US), and those are the “hushpuppies” (bits of fried cornmeal dough) and the “cheerwine” (cherry soda from a small-scale soda manufacturer; think regional microbrew for beers but non-alcoholic).
Absolutely nothing else on this menu is even slightly dubious if you’re familiar with, oh, restaurants in America in general. Sure, there are a few things on the menu from the Southwest (quesadilla is mentioned twice, lol), and they call their milkshakes “fancy shake” (charging $1 extra for one of those), and their tea isn’t listed as hot or iced--though it’s probably iced and probably pre-sweetened, which for me would be awful--but I wouldn’t call those “horrific” either...
I'm also trying to figure out what on this menu is "horrifying".
